WILLIAMS' STATEMENT ON CUOMO’S CONTINUED ATTACKS ON TRUTH
"The former Governor’s latest attempt to discredit the Attorney General’s findings that led to his resignation speaks to his unbridled hubris and insistence to deny responsibility, dodge accountability and gaslight the masses.
"We cannot allow him to rewrite history. We owe that to the courageous survivors who came forward to tell their story of Cuomo’s abuse and harassment. To the families who lost loved ones during the nursing home crisis that Cuomo created then tried to conceal, all while using state resources to write a book on leadership. And to every New Yorker failed over the years of constant abuses of power under the Cuomo-Hochul administration that resulted in scandal after scandal even long before the pandemic.
"I stand with those New Yorkers, and the Attorney General who bravely exposed the depth of Cuomo’s misconduct. Hopefully now that Governor Hochul is no longer a part of his administration, she will follow suit and speak out."
