NYS GAMING FACILITY LOCATION BOARD ANNOUNCES FOUR CAC-APPROVED APPLICANTS
The following four Applicants have been approved by their respective Community Advisory Committees and met all required entitlements, and therefore are undergoing evaluation by the Gaming Facility Location Board:
Bally’s Bronx
Proposed Site: Ferry Point, The Bronx
Location: 450 Hutchinson Parkways, The Bronx
MGM Empire City
Proposed Site: Empire City Casino, Yonkers
Location: 810 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers
Metropolitan Park
Proposed Site: Willets Point, Queens
Location: 126th Street, Willet Point, Queens
Resorts World New York City
Proposed Site: Aqueduct Racetrack, Queens
Location: 110-00 Rockaway Boulevard, Jamaica
The four Applicants will submit supplemental application material – including a proposed tax rate – to the Board for evaluation and consideration by October 15. Guidance and a worksheet matrix will be released to each remaining bidder.
