DSRIP Year 1, Second Quarterly Results and PPS Performance Payments
The DSRIP Team is pleased to announce that the Independent Assessor has completed its reviews of the Second Quarterly Reports of DSRIP Year 1, covering all PPS activity through September 30, 2015. The Second Quarterly Report for each PPS can be accessed through the PPS Quarterly Reports section of the DSRIP website at http://www.health.ny.gov/health_care/medicaid/redesign/dsrip/quarterly_rpts/index.htm.
Following the validation of the Second Quarterly Reports, the PPS earned $165,965,413 out of a possible $168,387,230 (98.5%) in DSRIP waiver funds for this period. The results of the Independent Assessor’s reviews and the breakdown of performance payments earned for each PPS can be found in the Achievement Value (AV) Scorecards posted to the PPS Quarterly Reports section of the DSRIP website at http://www.health.ny.gov/health_care/medicaid/redesign/dsrip/quarterly_rpts/index.htm. The AV Scorecards include a summary of the AVs and associated performance payments earned by each PPS for the Second Quarterly Report and details for each project being implemented by the PPS.
This payment represents the second of three payments the PPS may earn in DSRIP Year 1. PPS received their first payments of DSRIP Year 1 for the approval of the DSRIP Project Plan Application. PPS will be eligible for the third performance payments of DSRIP Year 1 following the completion of the Fourth Quarterly Report of DSRIP Year 1.
DSRIP Timeline Updates
The DSRIP Year 1 Timeline has been updated to reflect recent changes to key DSRIP deliverables. The updates include the date for performance payments to be released to PPS as well as the announcement of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of a DSRIP Independent Evaluator. Other additions to the timeline include the release of the Mid-Point Assessment Tool for public comment in early February and the release of a revised draft Value Based Payment Roadmap in late March.
A new DSRIP Year 2 Timeline, which begins April 1, 2016, has also been released.
